For this project I tried my hand at a simple piece of product design. This recycle bin is made from a flat pack design with sheets of card. The bin has three compartments that are labeled with simple, iconic graphics.

I chose to colour code the "Glass" "Plastic" & "Paper" sections of the bin for added clarity. Inside the card body I added three plastic boxes which can simply be emptied and reused. The end result is a sturdy recyclable bin with a great tactile quality.
